About this tread

**sContact** is Continental's **temporary spare tyre** (space-saver), designed for emergency use when a standard tyre is punctured. Light and compact for discreet in-vehicle storage, it features two wide grooves and open shoulders that force water out of the tread for adequate wet traction. Selected by major car manufacturers as original equipment, the sContact is restricted to a maximum speed of 80 km/h and should only be used for short distances to reach the nearest service point.
