About this tread
**Pilot Sport 3** is Michelin's previous-generation high-performance summer tyre, offering excellent grip on wet surfaces combined with greater driving pleasure. Its asymmetric tread pattern provides a high level of lateral grip for safe cornering, while the compound achieves strong EU label wet ratings. Recognised by BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Tesla as original equipment, it remains available in select sizes as a proven choice for performance-oriented drivers. Succeeded by the [Pilot Sport 4](/en/tread/pilot-sport-4).
