About this tread
**Pilot Sport 2** is Michelin's legacy ultra-high-performance summer tyre, offering superior performance and handling for premium dynamic vehicles. Its design delivers strong grip and braking on dry surfaces with competent wet traction, maintaining its qualities over extended use. Originally developed as an exclusive fitment for high-performance vehicles including the Dodge Viper and Porsche 911, it remains available in very limited sizes. A predecessor to the [Pilot SuperSport](/en/tread/pilot-supersport), it represents an earlier generation of Michelin's sport tyre technology.
