About this tread
The original **P Zero** is Pirelli's iconic ultra-high performance summer tyre, born from motorsport heritage. Its asymmetric tread pattern enhances braking, handling, and wet performance with superior aquaplaning resistance. The advanced compound delivers **maximum grip and stability**, while the structural design ensures precise steering response. The tread design optimizes pressure distribution. Selected as original equipment for the world's most powerful sports cars. A predecessor to the newer [P Zero (PZ4)](/en/tread/p-zero-pz4) generation.
